Today I have a talk with my manager about what the hell I'm going to do at work. I've got some ideas, both abstract and concrete, about what I want. My project manager has a backlog of challenging work he's happy to set in front of me, most of which leverages off the same steep learning curve I've just come up. My manager says she has a "proposal" for me, which "isn't what we've previously discussed, but might be quite interesting nonetheless."
I'm hoping to come home tonight with a better sense of what the next year looks like. Maybe even a hint of a story arc for this season.
Also, what's with the rain of biblical proportions over the last 12 hours?
