Kairi rushed over as fast as she could, after spending too much time making sure she looked nice. For the day, she added some extra accessories to her usual attire. This was her first job, and she wanted to do well on top of looking nice for work.

For a few moments, Kairi paced outside the shop before knocking gently on the door, assuming it hadn't been unlocked.

Yuuko opened the door for Kairi and smiled at her.

"Hello, Kairi," she said, stepping aside to let her in, "I like your outfit."

"Hello, Miss Yuuko!" Kairi practically bounced into the store, wearing her usual smile. "Thank you! I hope it's all right. I'm not too early, am I?"

Konishi made her way to the White Bun Cafe, having heard information slipping through everyone's mouths and her journal about the grand opening event. With Mr. Kariya gone from her workplace, it would be beneficial to scout out rival and ally businesses and research what tactics they employed in order to succeed. She made sure to reach the White Bun Cafe just after opening in order to test how well the employees of the Cafe worked together and their attitude at the beginning of the day compared to their attitude at closing times, and had brought enough pewter knights to last her well throughout the day.

Finally making her way inside, Konishi looked around, ready to be attended to.

Kairi grabbed a menu and tried not to skip over to her first customer. She put on her brightest smile and clung to the menu as she spoke. "Welcome to the White Bun Cafe. This way, please!" Kairi waited until Konishi was seated before speaking further.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" Kairi flashed another smile as she handed Konishi the menu. If it was something simple to remember, she wouldn't need the pad and pen she tucked into the pocket of her apron.

Konishi felt her lips curl upward a little as she stared at Kairi, the stitches of her uniform giving the name away. The girl was so eager, it reminded Konishi a little of Yashiro back when she was just starting out, always burning to do better. Their hair was even the same color.

At Kairi's question, Konishi's slight smile turned into a slight smirk. While she only wanted water, really, unless they could really offer her something better, her foremost priority was to gather data. And it wouldn't hurt Kairi to learn how to think fast on a job, either-- or maybe she already could?

"What drinks do you serve? Are there any specialty drinks you offer? What would you recommend as a drink at this moment in the day? And," Konishi paused, thinking ahead. It would be enjoyable to stay at a cafe that offered high-quality drink... "Do you offer wine?"

Tieria Erde stepped in the door with a plain canvas tote back hanging off his good shoulder- the one that belonged to the arm that wasn't broken, and he was wearing a soft teal cardigan in place of his normal pink one. His judgmental red eyes scanned the restaurant, pleasantly surprised at how elegant looking and clean it was.

Tieria had been at home alone all day, doing whatever household chores could be done with only one good arm. Both Kobato and Lockon were supposed to be on their first day of work here at the White Bun Cafe, and since he'd completed his chores early that afternoon he decided to stop by and see what all the fuss was about.

Lockon spotted him and a small smile traced his lips. "Yo, Tieria." He approached the man and took notice of his arm. "I hope it isn't painful. We need to get you to a proper doctor for a checkup." He lead the other man and pulled a chair, motioning for him to sit. "Care to have something? It's on me." He winked.

Tieria smiled back in greeting and followed Lockon to his seat and sat daintily in the little chair, setting his bag on the ground. "I'm sure it will be fine." He brushed the comment off. "It seems to be set properly, and the swelling has decreased...As long as I don't make any major adjustments, I suppose." He sighed as if trying to convince himself he didn't need a doctor.

"Nonsense." He frowned, "Haven't you spent enough money on me in the past few days? Honestly..." He couldn't help but give a weak smile. The atmosphere was so friendly and energetic compared to meals in the dining hall on Ptolemaios. Not that his aloof attitude had ever helped the matter.

"Anyway, is Miss Kobato here?" He asked, recalling her telling him about her new job in some cafe. "I haven't seen her today..."

Lockon sighed and stretched. The last guest was gone and he finally could start his closing duties.
He rolled up his long sleeves up to his elbows. He began taking up the extra plates and silverware back into the kitchen so he could move the chairs and tables for him to sweep and mop the floors.

He made sure to double check the closing duties and put a mental checkmark on the ones he had done.

He could get used to this style of living easily. No wars, no codenames or secret conspiracies, just a normal lifestyle.
... as normal as it can get in Rivelata, of course.

She turned to Lockon, "Are you ready for the second half of your duties?"

As soon as the last customer left, Kairi practically skipped over to Yuuko. She wanted to make sure she had done an okay job. "Miss Yuuko, did I do all right?" Kairi clung to the menus she had picked up from her last table, fidgeting a little bit. She was nervous that she had done something wrong, but she had managed to get through the day without breaking any dishes! Breaking something was her biggest fear. "A-and, um, is there anything else you need?"
