WHO: Yuuko Ichihara (whatisyourwish), Mokona Modoki (white_manju_bun), her employees, and the customers. WHAT: The grand opening of the White Bun Cafe! WHERE: The White Bun Cafe! WHEN: Day 242
Lockon sighed and stretched. The last guest was gone and he finally could start his closing duties. He rolled up his long sleeves up to his elbows. He began taking up the extra plates and silverware back into the kitchen so he could move the chairs and tables for him to sweep and mop the floors.
He made sure to double check the closing duties and put a mental checkmark on the ones he had done.
He could get used to this style of living easily. No wars, no codenames or secret conspiracies, just a normal lifestyle. ... as normal as it can get in Rivelata, of course.
[ooc: Yuuko-mun, I want to wait on you, sorry if we got too carried away!]
As soon as the last customer left, Kairi practically skipped over to Yuuko. She wanted to make sure she had done an okay job. "Miss Yuuko, did I do all right?" Kairi clung to the menus she had picked up from her last table, fidgeting a little bit. She was nervous that she had done something wrong, but she had managed to get through the day without breaking any dishes! Breaking something was her biggest fear. "A-and, um, is there anything else you need?"
Lockon- no, Neil, turned to his employer and smiled. "Of course I am. I was just about finishing clearing the main floor for cleanup. I'll head to the kitchen after I'm done here. That's unless you would like me to do something else?"
Neil smiled in Kairi's direction, the question wasn't directed at him, but he knew how hard the girl worked.
"You did very well, Kairi," she said, smiling gently, then turned to Lockon/Neil, "Good. You'll have to wash the dishes as well as mopping and cleaning the tables."
"Right away, ma'am." He diligently went on his way, adjusting his server apron and making sure his sleeves were well rolled-up before taking the broom and sweeping the floor.
He had a lot of work ahead, but if it took this to have a peaceful life, he wouldn't change it for anything.
Yuuko smiled at him. Although it was very different from her usual sort of work, this cafe made her happy, and her employees also seemed happy. She was feeling very peaceful as she put the 'closed' sign in the window of the cafe.

"Work well done, my dears," she said, "I'll see you all tomorrow."
She turned to Lockon, "Are you ready for the second half of your duties?"
