I'm watching the Emmy Awards right now because I'm a sucker for award shows, regardless of how bad the banter is or how time-consuming they can be. But the more I think about these ceremonies, the more they bother me. My mom burst into my room shouting, "Joey was eliminated! Joey was eliminated!" I honestly have never seen her get this worked up over a television show before. It's great that she's having a fangirl moment, but couldn't it be for something other than Dancing With the Stars?

I endured an 8 hour bus ride yesterday that really should have been 6 and a half hours had it not been for all of the traffic.
