these times are gone and behind us
My feet are being very mean to me right now. One of them hurts at the arch, to the point where it feels like there's a splinter lodged in there somewhere. The other is a bit more complicated. The two smallest toes have that weird tingly feeling you sometimes get when you sit too long, but when I walk, they almost feel like they are dead weight and are not part of my foot. I realize that that description probably made no sense whatsoever, but it really is a strange sensation that I've never experienced before. It's been like this since Saturday night when I went ice skating. I knew I should have said something about the right skate being too tight. I'm hoping that it'll go away on its own in due time because I'm getting pretty close to being scared about this.
