I'm not watching an old episode of Celebrity Poker Showdown and melting over the part where Matthew Perry calls Lauren Graham "baby" twice when she takes all of his chips and sends him packing to the Losers Lounge. Nope, nope, nope.

David Anders' one minute guest spot on Deadwood. He uses his natural accent, which isn't nearly as exciting as his British one on Alias, but then again, that's pretty hard to top. The clip is much too short, but he squeezes in a wisecrack or two, so that somewhat makes up for it.

Quite a few things to report on. Where do I start? I suppose it would be best to just dive in.

Why is it that cover art for movies once they are released to dvd tend to be so disappointing compared to their poster art? Case in point: A History of Violence, the poster and the dvd cover. I've haven't seen the movie yet, but that doesn't mean I can't love the poster for it. It's so ominious, and I love how the gun blocks out part of Viggo ( Read more... )

Okay, so that was the Oscars. I only started watching from Robert Altman's honorary Oscar (he's never won one of his own? Crazy! Three 6 Mafia: 1, Altman: 0.
