If you don't recognize the name, I'm sure you'll know this one - Anne Frank. Miep Gies was one of a few, brave souls who hid the Frank family for two years during the Nazi occupation. Anne Frank died in a concentration camp, two weeks before its liberation. Today, her protector died. She was 100. A living legacy, gone.

Hey guys, I hate windmills. Ergo, anthropogenic climate change is FALSE.

I still cannot believe there are people who think climate change isn't happening or, if it is, it's caused by God or Mythical Beasts or Rainbows and not humans. Seriously?

The first time I met a dog from a fight bust was in the quarantine kennel at the shelter where I volunteered. I had been given the privilige of bestowing treats and love to the dogs languishing in the "bite kennel". Some were there because of court orders, others had bitten people or animals.
