I always find it...unusual...when I read about fanfic in outside sources like, well, The Washington Post. I always find myself chuckling to see terms like "fanon" and "ship" outside the realm of a fandom, like some adult is trying to be relate to a younger generation by using slang that just doesn't sound right coming out of their mouth.

Permit me a large exhale... This was a wacky weekend. I drove up to the Jersey shore for a bachlorette party Saturday night, so last night was pretty much a mess of alcohol and bar food and penis jokes...and more alcohol.
