father-related improvement
my father is a very very critical man. he's eloquent, so he can be truly cutting in his criticism, and i've suffered from that a lot in the past. on the other hand, i also know that when he compliments me, he means it, and chooses his words carefully. today he informed he that while i was waiting with the rest of my class outside the school for the exam to start, i looked like "a model amongst a lot of potatoes".

additionally, a note about Seattle, since somehow everyone seems to think I'm moving this summer even though I have never said this to anybody:
i am not moving this summer. i am going on holiday this summer and i should be returning to england in early july. it's a holiday. it's less than a month. i'm not moving this summer.
it is worth actually reading what i say guys, i promise. : )
