Last Tuesday - spent the WHOLE LOVELY AFTERNOON jabbering and catching up with my dear friend Beth from high school, whom I hadn't seen in almost two years. I just trimmed my "bangs" (I grew them out back in third or fourth grade, and I haven't technically had bangs ever since) to about chin level because everything below that point was split ends. This is the shortest they have been in a very long time, and as they are no longer long enough to tuck behind my ears, I imagine they'll be driving me ( Read more... )

I guess there is one bonus to the super low humidity we've been experiencing these last few days (down to 28% today); my hair is only taking a quarter of the time it usually takes to dry. This does result in it being rather fly away, though.

Note to self - you can no longer shower right before bed and sleep with wet hair. While it doesn't look awful, it doesn't look good, either, and I ended up trying the kerchief thing for awhile, and then I just gave up and re-wetted it ( Read more... )

I have chopped off all of my hair. Like, all of it. As in my hair hasn't been this short since I was two years old, and even that might be pushing it a bit. I now have just barely enough to pull back into a pony tail, and it takes a *lot* of effort and will only stay completely pulled back for about five minutes because, who would've thought, my ( Read more... )

When I was showering, one of the hairs that pulled out started off brown, went to silver/grey about three-fifths of the way up, and then turned brown again just before it got to the root. Does this mean I'm aging in reverse ( Read more... )
