You're welcome to tell me what you think this says about me, but I find some of the things that game designers do incredibly amusing. There's a docking bay I'll have to take a screenie of where a crane hangs down between two forks on the front of the Sith's Fury. The Star Wars: The Old Republic servers opened for early access this morning. Having pre-ordered as soon as I could, I was getting all my characters started - to reserve names - before dawn.

Bioware is encouraging players to download the SWtOR client before the game actually opens next week. I just finished this morning. And, really, next Tuesday isn't that long to wait.

Yesterday was the last day for testing of Star Wars: The Old Republic. I was able to get my Sith Warrior to level 50 and complete his class story. I found it fairly satisfying, although it is a bit on rails. Bioware has had some journalists play a bit of Star Wars: The Old Republic and the embargo was released yesterday. If anyone is interested in what the beginning of SWtOR is like, have a look at some of these articles.

Ok, people, we have a launch date. Unfortunately, I'll be down at my sister's that week, so the Early Access I got by pre-ordering won't do me much good. However, this is an excellent time to see if any of y'all want to play Bioware's MMO.
