It's too bad you hadn't purchased ME3--they're doing a 'tell us what you liked/didn't like about ME3' over on the BSN, and having another voice of discontent would be good, but it requires having a registered copy of ME3 to post to the forum. :/
They already had a couple of strikes against them with killing Shepard at the beginning of ME2 and the requirement to use Origin. Even if I'd heard it was incredibly awesome in every way, I intended to wait a few months.
They are going to add some bits, true, but what I really want to see is if they're going to make substantial changes to the crafting system. I am so not in love with having to face the RNG to gather the materials I need to make the items, which I then Reverse Engineer to face the RNG again to see if I get the recipe I want.
Just give me a basic recipe and a variety of different colored crystals or something. If I use the green crystals with the basic recipe, I get a +5 to Willpower. The blue crystals add +5 Strength, etc. And make it so I can choose what materials I want to gather, instead of seeing a long list of missions that deliver companion gifts and nothing that brings back any more than a modest amount of the stuff I need to craft with.
I really do think SWtOR's crafting system is what is going to get me to quit. I don't do that much group content and I've done as many repeatable missions as I want already. But a good crafting system can keep me busy for months just gathering materials and making complete outfits for all my
