It was on his way up the stairs - some days, he just felt the need to be a little more active than standing around in the elevator - that Sakuya stopped when he got to the fourth floor. Marisa had said he could drop in, right? Maybe he should call her first though. Only he didn't have her cellphone number. The intranet? He'd have to go up to his laptop first...

It was only after standing in the stairwell for a good five minutes considering his options that he realized Marisa and her lack of formalities would find it stranger for him to call beforehand than not to.

Still, it's not like he had any reason to stop by her room. But... he wanted to. Would he just be a bother? In the end, he put trust in her to tell him if she was busy like she said she would and stepped out into the hallway.

A few seconds later and he was peering in through the open door. Well, if that wasn't an invitation... still, he stopped in the doorway and knocked, one of his practiced perfect smiles on his face.

"Would you mind a guest, Lady Kirisame?"

Marisa was kicking her feet idly in the air as she reclined on her stomach, turning a page, when she heard the knock and the voice. Her soft singing cut off and she looked up, showing she had those glasses on again. Which meant she immediately took them off and smiled.

"Heya Sakua. Come on in," she said, setting the glasses on the kotatsu and then started searching around for her bookmark. It had fallen on the floor.

And there it was again, the hiding of the glasses. Part of him wanted to see if he could make a game of trying to catch her with them on.

"Thank you," he said, setting down his bag by the door and stepping inside. A few quick strides and he made it over by her, gracefully picking up the bookmark from where it had fallen out of the girl's immediate line of sight. Bent at the waist, he offered it to her with a smile. "Looking for this?"

Now where was her bookmark. Marisa could've sworn it was right on the arm of the--

"Oh! Yeah," she said with a smile, taking the bookmark and putting it in place. "Thanks, ze." Sitting up, she smoothed her skirt and checked real quick to make sure all the buttons of her shirt were still buttoned save for the top two.

"Wanna sit?"

"Oi. Floe. I brought you some dinner," came a voice from just outside the door as a certain phoenix made her way into the room without much further announcement beyond that. She had apparently forgotten to be mad at Marisa over the text... Or had at least convinced herself she wasn't worth it.

Marisa stopped singing along as she heard that voice and glanced up from where she was laying on her stomach, a pair of glasses on. She wasn't terribly thrilled with Mokou breezing into her room, but she had left the door open and the Phoenix was Floe's friend.

Though why her roommate dated the unwashed girl in the first place was beyond her.

"She's not here."

... Fuck. Marisa.

"Shit? Really? Huh... Guess I should have sent a text to let her know I was coming over. Oh well," she shrugged as she... made herself right at home on the sofa.

"Tch." Marisa scooted closer to the end of the couch when Mokou sit, not wanting to touch the girl, keeping her legs bent up. Yes, she was incidentally flashing Mokou her underwear, but she really didn't care. She'd be damned if she was going to move any more in her own room for Mokou.

"I don't know when she's coming back. I'll let her know you stopped by though," she said dismissively as she went back to her book.

Meiling pokes her head in the doorway. She is wearing her gym gear, hair braided and tucked into the folds of the hood, which is strung so tight that all one can really see is her eyes and nose. Her gym bag is hanging off of a shoulder, and takes up more space in the open doorway than the girl does, herself.

This is the look of someone who's guilty of something...

"Marisa?" Hopefully she could hear her over the music. Hopefully she wasn't being a bother...

Meiling was indeed heard over the music, though it was more the sudden arrival of a much larger figure than usual in the doorway that caught Marisa's attention at first as hyperwired as she was for such a thing. She always had to be aware...

Glancing up, the blonde with a pair of glasses on, stares at the figure. It takes her a moment to put the pieces of what she sees and the voice together. "What did you do now, China?"

"I didn't! I mean..." She reaches up to take something off of the clip on the arm-band she wore. It wasn't her Disciplinary Committee sash... no, it was a small device not unlike an MP3 player. It'll be more clear what she's doing once she steps in and carefully approaches.

"It's not working," Meiling starts, offering the other girl the combination GPS / lap-tracker / all-in-one fitness recording device. "...again."

Rolling her eyes, Marisa marks the book and sits up. Pushing her glasses up onto her forehead, she takes the device and starts looking it over.

"You're hopeless, you know? Sit down and tell me where you've been storing this thing."
