It wasn't so much that Marisa left the door open to invite company in - at least not consciously - as much as she was just in the habit of leaving it propped open whenever she was lounging in the common room. The blonde was laying on the couch reading a book, down to just her white blouse and uniform skirt, while listening to the power ballads of X Japan as they came from the bedroom.
If one listened closely, Marisa was quietly singing along and a certain roommate might remember she really only listened to X Japan when she's had a bad day. And with the meeting down at the guidance counselor's office earlier that day, it was no wonder she considered this day a bad day. As usual, the room was very much on the cool side with the air being turned up, a kotatsu in the middle of the room, and... it was a bit on the messy side. Not that Marisa cared.
