my sister got the results of her biopsy earlier this week. the lumps are benign! of course we're all relieved. i could hear her husband shouting "yay!" in the background when she called me on monday. it was definitely a smile-making moment.

my sister had her biopsy today...results on friday (hopefully). i guess they really hurt her, trying to get the specimen from the lumps on her breast. i'm so scared for her.

plus, it seems wrong to be the older sister (even if it's only by 13 months) and have no serious health issues.

i hate this.

christ almighty. as soon as my mum got here yesterday she started doing my fucking laundry. this morning she couldn't stand it that there were a few sheets and blankets left to be washed and she started yet another load, despite me asking her NOT to -- i have my own method for sheets and blankets washing that i follow every week so i'm prepared ( Read more... )

took my uncle to the crow's nest in santa cruz last night. we missed the dinner service because we didn't get there till after 9:30pm+, so we ate bar food upstairs while we people-watched and listened to the band. it was fun! some highlights:

how can a person (let's call him travis, shall we?) NOT know that he is one class short of graduating? and why does the school not bother to notify him until five (FIVE!) days before graduation ceremonies?

i guess that says it all, really.
