all my weekend plans have been canceled
i guess that says it all, really.
nothing's wrong. i just hadn't planned on my uncle showing up two days early. so, no QOM, no doppmonster birthday celebrating, no bay cruise/boat ride, no fireworks, no gossip, no hula hoop making attempt. i'm sad, because i was really looking forward to spending time with friends this weekend, but my replacement activities have supplied their own kind of fun.
having said that, i must admit that i don't think i'll ever understand what motivates people to spend time with their families. it's draining. i can't imagine doing it on a regular basis....
