My grandmother just helped me pin the hem on my dress. It's just one more step away from being done. I am so relieved. I found boots. I bought boots. I paid way more then I wanted to, but as I did not buy any shoes this winter, nor do I plan to buying any new shoes this summer, plus I really think they will look cute with skirts next fall, and I've been wanting a nice pair of leather boots for two years now, I feel like it's worth it. So, yeah boots.

Well I can say for certain that I have at least one cosplay that will fit me at con. I just finished refitting Kairi's skirt and shirt today. The skirt took most of the afternoon, having to rip out the zipper and the extra panel I had to add last AE because I originally made the skirt too small. My iron cross from e-bay came today. It's just the right size, looks awesome and all things considered, wasn't all that expensive. It has three pins on the back to ensure that is will not rotate when pinned. I am so excited. Of course, I keep thinking about Prussia red and blue coat. Spring time is so not the season to be looking for boots. Sure its great for sales, but only if you have above average small or large feet. Most combat boots only seem to come mid calf and I need them to at the most be to the knee. And so many of them even on sale are still close to $200.
