Today is my brother's birthday.

He's 41, just a little more than a year younger than I am, and yet there's a lot of people in my life now who don't even know that I have a brother.

My beloved Wisconsin Badgers did not win the Rose Bowl . . . cue much gnashing of teeth and eating of ice cream in my despair.
