Our Relay for Life team is waking up. I held a meeting at work & people showed up. I did the same thing last year and 3 people showed up. I was a bit surprised at having about 10!! Life seems to get faster, days shorter (despite it being summer and longer days) & I find myself at 10pm barely able to keep my eyes open and yet wondering why I didn't get everything done I had wanted. Spring is in the air finally. I mowed the lawn today, did a little bit of weeding out front & back. I've also cleaned the outside of 5 windows & inside of 2, mopped the kitchen & bathroom floors, tidied up some stuff out front & cleaned the fish tank. Spent some time in the garden this am. Gorgeous weather but I was in before too long so I didn't cook myself. Still stuff to do but got the bigger things I wanted done: clean up some dried leaves and shift them into pots/where I was going to plant the pumpkin to use as a mulch, transplanted tomatoes, watered, gave the food plants a feed ( ( Read more... )
