Comments: Readable, trying a bit too hard to be funny. Too much action and too little character development for my taste, that's what I get for trying to read adventures when I want slash/romance. A hilarious take on all vampire clichés, half hilarious, half heartbreaking. I can’t say it’s anywhere near ‘Unspoken’ or ‘Liar’ in quality but it isn’t a comedy either. This story makes me sad for the author of The Mediator series, it's seriously badly written. Either she's paying someone to ghostwrite for her and she chose really wrong or she's not aging well. Have a look at this line from a highschool jocker a unicorn is torturing by twirling him from his swimming trunks (which don't break or anything. ( Read more... )

Part of the "Zombies vs Unicorns" anthology. Amusing but not outstanding, although it did demolish a number of cliches rather nicely.
