I believe it was my mother who observed that you have to wait a week before knowing how much weight you actually gained on a trip. Considering that I've already lost four of the seven pounds I was up, that seems to be true.
My flight was more or less on time last night, so I arrived home around 1:00 AM. Unpacked just enough to go to bed. (My two bigger bags didn't even make it up the stairs until this morning

Turns out that eating a whole pan of fudge in less than a week is bad for one's weight-loss efforts. Especially if one goes to two parties that same week. Who knew? ;)
