The library roof leaked badly in the storm on Tuesday, so we've been closed all week while that gets cleaned up. The damage mitigation company has been hard at work drying things out and repairing walls and ceilings. On a lighter note, yesterday also saw everyone's favorite computer idiot complaining that his new flash drive wouldn't plug into our computers. I took it from him, looked at it, and told him, "You have to take the cap off." [removing cap] "See?"

And okay, it was a new type of flash drive for him. But the old ones had caps, too!

Got a call about fifteen minutes ago from the director: The library will be closed tomorrow as well. Which means I have all day to dig my car out, instead of needing it by noon. That's a relief.

It'll be a bit of a hit to my budget--Sundays are overtime--but nothing I can't absorb.
