Guess who drove the BIO VAN?

Hi all!
Getting a little sad since there's only a little over a week of the project still left. It was sure an experience. All the going over data and getting conclusions will happen over the school year so I can make some credits and go to adult science fairs (haha that's what I call them).

Yesterday we finished inputting all the data UNLESS she finds more in her office which will 100% most likely happen. :-P Me and Gabe were given a little saw and long tubes of pvc piping and had to cut 12-  1 meter long pieces to make a *dun da da da* crab cube. (Mind you this is different from the crab bag which we held together with cinch tags and is now r.i.p.) So comedic value insues but we cut the pvc pipes.
Oh and from the boat trip from hell- they got some normal crabs and some spider crabs. Really creepy!! They are in an aquairum in the back of the bio room. And as I was typing I hear bubbling- they were shimmying up to the surface trying to jump out!! Talk about scary.

How could I forget! I got to drive the official BIO VAN. That's right they have one. It's all new and silver and a Chrylser to boot. And I only drove it in the parking lot but I got so excited! Dr. Mattei was just like "oh Racelle here's the keys." I'm like WOW she must really trust me to give me a saw and then the keys to the BIO VAN!  (So I really am that much of a dork just to let you know and I really did get excited just ask Gabe)

Back to reality....Monday we are going back to PSEG...woo woo power plant! Probably our last trip there- I hope we can get everything together. We're going to take our crab cube to measure how many crabs deep are next to the intake structure. That's where Dr. Beekey and his SCUBA skills come in. He loves it he does.

So that was my day and what's coming up. Enjoy the weekend everyone...besides the rain. God bless!
