According to the biopsy report (what I could understand of it), it seems like they caught it at a pretty early stage, so I'm pretty hopeful about that. I just thought I'd share this tidbit...

Mom and I watch Bones together, and she usually rolls her eyes and shakes her head at my DB enthusiasm. She likes the show, though, and towards the end of last week's episode, the one set in New Orleans, she spontaneously said, "You know, you're right. He is pretty cute."

I spent most of yesterday lying down with a headeache, but I was awake enough in the evening to see the stories of Hurricane Katrina. I saw this morning that it's weakened slightly, and that the worst of it may miss New Orleans, but still... those poor people. How terrible -- and terrifying!
