The running theme in last night's dream is that I'm not really remembering dreams anymore. Merely impressions. When I was dreaming, I was trying to get in some house. Last night I dreamt a plane crashed on my home. I missed the violence but saw the aftermath. it lay perpendicular to my home's longest axis. I could see a light was still on in the house, and silhouettes of the cats dancing through the ruins. There was a black dog, like an afghan hound, trotting about the house too.

Since 2001, I've become a cat person. Dogs are far too socially intense, and needy, while cats simply... "be". Of late my pithy quote is, "Dogs look up to you, cats look you in the eye." I love dogs, and I'm sure one day I might find a dog who is peanut butter to my chocolate, but for now I'm quite happy keeping company with felines. An apt video ( Read more... )

The dream started out with me seeing Heather. She asked me to look after her puggle and a Pomeranian.
