Have to leave at some ridiculous hour in the morning, since mom's giving me a ride to the con so I don't have to go up and find parking on my own. Yesterday mom and I put together the display for all my buttons and I just finished it up. I'm pretty proud of it. I was originally just going to get a piece of foam board, which is what I think my friend does with hers, but somewhere along the way I got the idea to instead go with a wall-scroll kind of design. So AnimeFest went a lot better than I expected, with regard to table business! At least it did the first couple days. At noonish Sunday business just kind of stopped, which was really depressing. But I made over $400 in the end, although between hotel and groceries half of that is already gone. Sigh ( Read more... )

Still not doing too well with that whole preparing for AnimeFest thing. It occurs to me that since my tablemate actually signed up for the table at A-kon, I may not have an actual con pass...I don't know, I'm waiting to hear back from her.
