In light of recent conversations, it occurs to me yet again that there are seemingly many different paths that lead to the same destination - or at least address the same goal. Endless dunes. Buttercup, I think it's called. An area near the California/Arizona border where the shifting sands move like a sea in the wind, and border patrol agents scan the horizon with high-tech binoculars. An odd contrast between nature and man.
