okay, we've all done it...we all have ridiculous or embarrassing nicknames for our pets. the most creative one i've ever heard was terry pratchett's soubriquet for his cat ('oedipuss', though that was technically its proper name). so what about the rest of you?

is raining today, so miyuki and i both got spit upon walking to the vet's (me walking; her being chauffeured in her carrier in my wheelie cart - apparently the towel i put over the cart didn't help quite as much as it might). then we had to wait while the vet was pulling a dog's teeth, but the way the vet tech told me about it, it sounded like ( Read more... )

i wonder if, whenever i leave the apartment, miyuki thinks i'm going to the vet's office? because that's the only place she's ever been 'outside' since we've moved here...although i suppose since i don't actually smell like the vet's office when i get home again, she probably doesn't. but you never know.
