Man, that whole late night tv feud is getting messy and ugly, isn't it? Seems like only yesterday we were witnessing a big frufru over whether Jay Leno or David Letterman was supposed to take over the Tonight Show.

I think I've finally put my finger on what I find so unsettling about the extreme pre-emptive squee over at doctoreleven : they're reminding me uncomfortably of the batchippers.

I mean, at least the chippers had, you know, actual episodes to sort of back up their ship. But the  sheer intensity of the Eleven/Amy squee is at least equal to anything the chippers ( Read more... )
