So the kitten that we're fostering until a real home can be found is now called Amadeus.  I figured it was only fair to continue the musical vein of pet names around here.  Steinway and Amadeus haven't been getting along too well... I bought kayaks this weekend.  We got a Necky Manitou and a Old Town Cayuga - they’re both about 13 feet, which puts them in the “single day touring” category, but still pretty close to recreational length.  Their size means that they can be used in still water, gentle rapids, or costal ocean conditions.  They’re very versatile and durable, and I ( Read more... )
