Merlin, do I have to copy out your own words to you?

Oh, and Brown? Fancy seeing them there last night. How outrageously brilliant!!!!

So who is "them" and why should I give a flying fairy?

Really, Brown. I am no stranger to sarcasm. Don't you care about your own parents, then?

Wait, when you said the Browns were there you meant those Browns? And I just realised that Browns name is actually TWO colours. Lavender Brown. What a horrible combination to visualise. Do you suppose her middle name is something like 'Puce'?

Oh, you are up from your nap!!!! DID YOU HAVE A NICE REST?!?!

It is appalling, isn't it?!?! I'll bet her middle name is 'Mustard' in keeping with the HERB theme!!!!

Yes, those Browns. Didn't you know?!?!

Yes, I'm feeling better. I think someone put bad figs in the tarts last night.

Mustard would be a likely guess, because it is both an herb/spice and a horrible colour.

Millions of Browns must live in Britain, so I really had no idea. It's such a common name, you know.

Is your stomach still upset? I can rub it for you if you'd like!!!!

And Mustard grows in the wild, and is not a cultured, cultivated bloom, such as the pansy. It's more suitable to Brown in that regard.

Very common. Ugh.

SO, TRUFFLES THEN?!?!

Thank you for the origami, Pansy.

Yes, I'm fine. I have to say that he's always been talkative to me. But then again, I'm not really a chatterbox.

You're welcome. I sent you a Mother Bear.

You're a chatterbox with me!!!!

She looks grouchy.

I'm as much as a chatterbox as I can be, with you, because you're a good conversionalist. You're a good listener.

Are you alright yourself? That was an unpleasant conversation you had with Brown.

I honestly think you might rather not. He's terribly spotty and whatnot.

I thought of a hippopotamus -- hippopotamus is Greek for 'river horse', did you know? -- but a giraffe has a brilliant purple tongue!!!! Did you know that more Muggles are killed on river safaris in Africa by Hippopotami than by any other beast? Most people don't know this!!!!

I sent Ron a platypus!!!!

anyone with the audacity to attempt lifting your skirt is worth meeting at least once
i think

i did not know that, they look so
friendly.
i like how his spots move.

the platypus fits him i think
cute and
functional

do you think we will all run out of ribbon
soon?

I suppose that is an apt point.

Yes, his spots move like one of those finger puzzles on a small, square board, where you try and unscramble a picture. The giraffe is a busy animal. Giraffes give birth standing up, did you know?

The platypus is the only mammal that lays an egg. A mammal with a rare ability. Fetching creatures, platypuses.

I hope not. For it's only recently I've come to appreciate my ribbon collection in the first place. I shall ration carefully.
