Had a lovely evening out with Mumsy last night - to a Jane Austen society meeting, which was very interesting. Hazel was giving a talk on her collection - she has so many books it's almost silly. I've come down with a rotten cold over the last couple of days. My throat is swollen - I can barely talk or swallow, and it's really tender to touch and when I move my head.
