The Weekend starts here!
It's the weekend! The sun is shining and it looks actually Spring-like out there.
What shall I do with myself today? Hmmm ...
Haven't attempted to speak yet today (haven't had to as yet) but I'm not holding out much hope of having a natural voice, my throat feels so tight, swallowing still hurts. I thought it was getting better yesterday but then I was forced to speak quite a lot - people kept phoning me and it's difficult to answer their questions when all you can do is croak and rasp - so it was very tender again by bedtime. Really should go and see the dr again, but I know what it is (inflamed tonsils - should have had them out as a child but didn't), and there's not a lot they can do about it. Maybe I should insist on seeing an ENT specialist just to check. Ho hum. Yeah, not going to happen ...
I feel like going out and buying some nice pastries. Mmmm almond croissant sounds so good right now. And flavoured coffee .... mmmmmmm ... XD
