...and it's already Aralis time again! After this I can rest for a while, right? I'll have two and a half weeks to work on music hopefully before I go to Seattle. By that time I may have an idea when/where I'm moving next year.

The Yankees have started 2-3, thanks to Tampa Bay.  Malaga are in third place.  Bayern Munich lost to Dortmund as I typed, and are probably out of the title hunt, but there's still the Champions League versus Real Madrid.  So, mixed sporting news.

Have finished Mass Effect 3.  It punched me in the gut repeatedly, and is really well done.  The sound is amazing, especially the sequences where one leaves Earth.  Also, wrapped up Logos.  The level of epic in my head was at radical levels for a while.  Then add crowleycrow's Endless Things on top of it.  Oooof.

I'm pretty sore from Aralis, which I find surprising.  Perhaps it's that their mattresses were very thin and mine at home is too, which is fine normally but otherwise isn't great.  It's always an exhausting thing to recover from.  I hope people had fun.  I really enjoyed hosting goldfishsara and bobbydrake007 over the weekend and having their company on the drive.  But now ( Read more... )

Time for my schedule to get freaky.  Sunday my plane's off to Cincy for a conference.  I return Wednesday, drag myself to work Thursday, take Friday off.  Then I go to another conference for work Saturday and Sunday, work in office Monday through Wednesday, collapse for a deserved four-day weekend ( Read more... )
