traveling is the idea of this fall
Thursday morning I fly to Seattle! Yay!
Vacation planning. I plan to go to Albuquerque/Santa Fe the last week of November. Why? I have the time, John is free, and I've had Santa Fe on my places-to-visit for a few years. I didn't know that Albuquerque was so nearby and Full of Things until I looked into it, so I should go there, too! Petroglyphs! Georgia O'Keeffe! Atom Bomb Bad museum! Cliff dwellings! More art! The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science has two floors dedicated to astronomy and space exploration! Spaaaaace!
I am also seriously contemplating New Zealand before Christmas. It'd be summer there. Beaches. With penguins on them. Many mareeps. Also general scenery and Maori culture. Could break up the flight and spend a night in SFO. I do have the time...
The Giants won the pennant! They've won six elimination games this postseason. Do I root for them or the Tigers in the World Series?
