So Kelsey called on Friday, and asked to see a doctor about her anxiety - said she's continually fighting mini-panic attacks, and she wants to see her dr. As of Sunday, we officially have health insurance again. I cannot begin to tell you how that takes such a weight off my shoulders - not that we'd have been completely in the cold if we had needed it before this, but to pay almost 3000 for COBRA, plus the deductibles, would have been horrifying. Haven't payed for COBRA yet (which also hasn't expired) so I know I'm courting disaster, especially with my luck healthwise, but honestly, who has an extra $2400 lying around "just in case", especially given that the damn insurance that I'd be continuing has such a high deductible I'd basically be paying for everything out of pocket still anyhow. Total panicked call this morning as the landlord at Glenn's commissary kitchen called them to say time's up. Apparently they are trying to get a loan to do something with the building and they feel that by having the kitchen in there and in use is detrimental to this process so they want them out and all the kitchen equipment too.
