Made it

As of Sunday, we officially have health insurance again. I cannot begin to tell you how that takes such a weight off my shoulders - not that we'd have been completely in the cold if we had needed it before this, but to pay almost 3000 for COBRA, plus the deductibles, would have been horrifying. As a result of this, I no longer have to make 1 month of meds last 2 months, and started taking my pills on a more regular basis. Amazing how good one feels after a few days of that.

Kids are out of school now - both doing work with Glenn's company, Kelsey is spending as much time as she can with her high school friends, and Tyler's got a good social life going too. So far no fights over the one car...here's hoping. Ty is starting in on his college essay and looking at the applications - we've already received one letter from a school in the midwest somewhere saying that Ty should look at them (he's not interested) because with his grades and academic standing, he could qualify for rewards up to 55K. Fingers crossed the schools he DOES want to go to feel the same way. One of these days, have to take a road trip up to Burlington, VT, to check out Champlain...although I think he has his heart set on WPI.
