I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I think I'm doing it decently well.

Now returning you to your regularly scheduled malaise.

Really, life's not half bad. I really wanted that job, but at least I still have my campus one. I have friends. I'm doing well with homework. I am tougher than people think I am, and I'm losing weight. I've got rhythm and music (well, not really), and honestly, who could ask for anything more?

As the semester starts, it will be good for me to keep in mind my one simple goal. . . To be SO GOOD at EVERYTHING that nobody can BEGIN to question my goodness.

It's a goal! It's one goal! It's simple!

I remain tired of everything. Today was less unpleasant than it could have been. However, that's not saying much. Right now all I want is a glass of chocolate milk and the ability to go to bed in a room that's cool and breezy. I'll file that desire under "Small yet unattainable goals."

The last couple days have been an emotional roller coaster - I called Erin last night crying and Sarah tonight grinning. Thing is, I want to write about why, but the sad part is too confidential (as in, it's someone else's business, not mine) and the happy parts I'm enjoying telling people about one on one.
