That quote and many others are the reasons I love reading Stiff by Mary Roach. I'm only one chapter from the end (and in the last chapter she apparently discusses what she wants done with her remains, so I can't wait for that), so I'll resist posting a review about it until I finish it.

As you probably know by now, I usually form images in my head of the characters in the book I'm currently reading. Also, they usually take the likeness of famous people, or people from my past. As I read The Red Tent, I find that I'm inventing images for these people, very distinct images, that I can't attribute to one particular person ( Read more... )
