I watched Pitch Perfect 2 on DVD last night, having been unable to see it in the cinema. I thought it was a bit of a mess, suffering from sequelitis. It coasted a bit on liking the characters from their previous outing, the actors' charm - Hailee Stanfield is a welcome new addition, in particular - and it is funny in an offbeat way.
