We've been eating a lot of Burger King, Arby's, Subway and other takeout lately.

I don't remember when I started disliking McDonalds, and had written off most burger places, but Burger King is surprisingly not all that bad.

I prefer Subway, but they seem expensive now.

Being blunt, I have to say I have little to no faith in online education.  If it is effective, it is due to extraordinary work by the instructor to recreate as close as possible a normal classroom experience.  Seeing students coming into college now after graduating during the pandemic shutdown has shown evidence of a huge drop in skills of all ( Read more... )

And in all of this it was the Hatchday (Jan. 28).  Didn't get much in the way of gifts, though of course there was something from the one you'd expect to remember things like this.  Blood pressure cuff for at home measurements.  Mine's high!

I might have to get something for myself.
