I've been reduced to wearing a blue satin sleep mask over my right eye so I can, ya know, FUNCTION and focus things that are more than 1 foot directly in front of my face. Off work today with stomach issues brought about by too-hot Thai food. I ordered it "double Thai Hot" last night at Thai House, and they gave it to me. • Greek Gods Greek Yogurt -- Pomegranate, Honey, and Fig flavors
  Thicker than "normal" yogurt and more... cheese-like, sort of. It's a little like ricotta. It's probiotic, so it's good for digestion.
• Ceres brand Passion Fruit juice -- birdofparadox brought this up to me, and I am now making my way through a liter of it from Fresh Market in Madison.

I set up a separate journal for cooking and food and stuff. It is princesscooks if you want to add it.

It is a Plus account which apparently means it has ads. I don't mind this too much since it's not my primary journal. Also, for some reason I can't cut and paste. exblogger did enable what little html I habitually use.

Overall, I'm fairly happy with this whole thing

It turned out well. Roasty and very very very very very very rich. A little too rich for me, and I only half my bowl-ful. Jake ate his entire bowl, exclaiming "mmmmm mmm" every few minutes; he then had seconds. This is, I feel, a sign of success. I am eating some grape tomatoes to cut the roasty richness. I love beef stroganoff, and I have ever since I was little. My Mama used to make it, and hers was awesome. I will admit that the best batch she ever made was during the Delta Ice Storm of '94 when it was a choice between eating every steak in the freezer or letting it all go bad.
