I did it
I set up a separate journal for cooking and food and stuff. It is princesscooks if you want to add it.
It is a Plus account which apparently means it has ads. I don't mind this too much since it's not my primary journal. Also, for some reason I can't cut and paste. exblogger did enable what little html I habitually use.
Overall, I'm fairly happy with this whole thing.
