I'm having contractions that I'm able to time. They're consistently 6-8 minutes apart and last about 2 minutes each. This has been going on for about two and a half hours now.

However only some of them hurt. The rest are just tightening. In fact, most of them don't hurt.

Is this something that "counts" or is it just BH? Should I be paying attention ( Read more... )

So I'm 37+3 today, and I've been having clear prodromal labor since last Monday--the contractions were painful but irregular, and they'd start at 5 minutes apart. I had a feeling I'd go past my due date when at my ~40 week appointment I was only 1cm. That was last Tuesday. Went to the hospital last night with sporadic contractions ranging in the every 3-9 min range. I called ahead and told them what was going on, but they said to come in. Hi all, looking for a little help from those of you who might have doen this before, or maybe just going through the same thing!!
