I had such a great time at Writercon! So great, I'm still recovering (man, I haven't danced that much in a loooonnng time!). ( Why I won't be posting my Writercon report for a few more days )

This time tomorrow, I will probably be at Logan airport in Boston, trying not to fidget too much as I wait for my flight to Atlanta. (Whee!) I bought my tickets to WriterCon (including the cocktail party), and just booked the hotel for me and roomie liz_marcs (a mostly-slash reader and a het writer sharing a room; should make for some interesting gatherings :). Now, to book a flight...

It's official: Writercon 2006 is on!

I'm going (whee!), probably without H this time, since I think Writercon is taking place at the same time as his company's annual user conference.

It'll be such fun to see so many of you again, and hopefully meet many of you for the first time! Maybe I'll get a tattoo on my other ankle... ;)

estepheia made my day! She has begun my Writercon auction fic, and posted the first chapter of No Happily Ever After today. Post-NFA Spike is traveling with Illyria; I'm told they're headed toward Cleveland, where they will meet up with Xander. A good, strong beginning; it'll be fun to see where it goes...

I won writercon bids for two writers today: estepheia and rubywisp -- too bad LJ doesn't have "triumphant" as one of its mood choices :). I've never won anything at an auction before.

I placed three bids (two for written work, and one for art) in the WriterCon auction today (mwuahahah, power! :). I hope I win at least one of them -- I've never commissioned anything before!
