So CB took Noah to church w/o me so I could get some work done, but.... wah!  I wanna play first.  I am sitting at CB's desk looking out the window at our desolate yard so I am going to play garden dreams here for a few minutes before we start.

In an attempt to simultaneously duplicate Safeway's Tuscan Tomato-Basil-Crack soup*, as well as use up some ingredients I had on hand, I made an ok soup last night and had it for lunch.  No pic, as the camera was upstairs and I was HONGRY.

Gazpacho!

Blended in stages in my fancy-shmancy mini-chopper (mine is silver):

• lots and lots of tomatoes from the garden
• 1/2 red onion from farmstand (leftover from camping)
• juice from one lime (leftover from camping)
• locally-grown Kirby cukes (not mine)
• garlic (leftover from camping)

The Brandywines have finally ripened and ooooh-sweet-Jeebus are they delicious! I can't get enough.
