I have been on a Pokemon rom kick for the last few months taking on Pokemon Naranja, Pokemon Troll version, and Pokemon Flame of Rage. So far, I really love Naranja. Yeah it's in Spanish, but I give them props for rebuilding the sprites and maps to fit the Orange Islands.

If you play Pokemon rom hacks, what are your favorite ones and why?

I use the Pokemon Selector a lot. Not for hacking pokemon, since I prefer to raise my own, but mostly for items on my completed Platinum game. Today I checked the GTS; I posted up a Zapdos, hunting for a level 50+ Vespiqueen. Not a bad trade, right? Considering the Zapdos was nicknamed RYANCORTME!?

One of my friends has gotten some kind of game hacking device. With it, he can produce any Pokemon. I've asked him for three, Stantler, Mew, and Celebi (since I can't find the Stantler I had in my 3rd gen games to migrate it, and Mew and Celebi are likely never going to end up being released in 4th gen, anyway ( Read more... )

Hi, I have a bit of a stupid question to ask you all. My brother finally got my Wii back online and Nintendo abruptly mailed us a system update, and in the warnings it says that the update will "erase all save files that have been tampered with."

In light of the recent Nintendo banning of players who use AR codes, does anyone know if having hacked Pokémon in your possession (Darkrai, lv3 Lugia, lv15 Tyranitar, etc) will get you banned as well?

Just want to know before I try to trade and get the hammer.
