Last night I dreamed that my 346 prof gave me back my essay, and it was a horrible mess with scribbles all over it and basically it was like "FAIL, PLEASE REWRITE." I woke in a panic and went this afternoon to see if she'd finished grading the essay, but there were no corrections waiting for me.

Oh god, my poor finger joints and wrist bones. I finished typing up the transcript of my Thursday interview - it was the last of three, but the first two times, I didn't bring a tape recorder, and then I learned how to record sound using GarageBand on the Macs. Ha ha! I am in fact enrolled in the Smith WWII in East Asia course! And my requests for major and minor credit from UPV were approved, so I am done with my French minor when this semester ends and... will be done with my major by graduation. I am on schedule, woo hoo ( Read more... )

In an amazing twist, meeting with your prof in order to discuss the draft of the paper is actually VERY HELPFUL! And rather uplifting. She said it looked like a B+ paper as it was (unfinished, a bit generalized, prone to tangents), so with some work I could move it to A- or even A range. And she was also very very nice and kind. There's a tightness in my chest like I can't breathe. I'm lying in bed staring up at the ceiling - which I can't see, it being dark and all, and also there's a sleep mask over my eyes.
