Anyone else still here?

The tragedy and the glory of growing older is the realization of your stupidity of when you were younger.

It looks like I will be spending the better part of a week at Whitby Gothic Weekend sharing a cottage with the trio of doom. My liver is already crying in anticipation of the pain.

I shall be arriving in London on April 15th, and leaving from there on April 28th. I would very much love to see old friends! I will be making the London/Coventry/Cambridge/Whitby circuit. I just got back from a night of Contra dancing. It was super excellent awesome, and very well attended (almost to the point of being a problem). It was great how friendly everyone was, and the variety of people. From children to grannies, punks to hippies. I will be a regular, I am sure!

I am driving today up to Shaw's Lodging in Monroe, ME. I will spend the night and leave my car there. Sunday morning they are driving me up to Abol Bridge. From there I will hike Southbound over the course of ten day until I reach Shaws's Lodging again on Tuesday, September 8th. I may extend things to September 9th. I was re-exploring some of my really old Industrial music. I opened a CD case, and out flowed an Isis feather. It made me really happy and sad at the same time. She was my Cockatoo from fifteen years ago. Other than some pictures, this is the only 'artifact' I have of her. How best to preserve it?

Laminate? Plastic baggie?
