Has anyone been able to make Chapter and Verse work for chaptered podbooks lately? It won't open on my computer and I'm curious as to whether it's just me or if others are affected? I'm on Windows 10, so that might be part of it.

Is there something else you've been using that you recommend for chaptered podbooks?

I've made my own podbooks even though I won't ever use them because I don't use Apple products. On iTunes it doesn't show any chapters, however, and so I'm a little worried that I didn't do it correctly?

I'd love it if someone could contact me so I can send them one or two files for spot checks on whether I was successfull or not.

I'm close to finishing a medium sized project that consists of several fics, varying from 25-65 minutes, all belonging to a series. I'd really like to create my own podbooks and I've read up on the tutorials posted in this community, and the consensus seems to be that Chapter and Verse is an excellent application for that kind of thing, even with ( Read more... )

So, a while back eos_rose tweeted about an awesome site she had found called Auphonic. I checked it out right away and have come to really like it. I've recommended it to a lot of people, but some have said hey haven't quite figured it out yet, so I thought I'd write a tutorial on how to use it.

Hey! So, I have a question on audiobooks. I use Audacity to record my fics, so I can export it as an MP3 file fairly easily and I can export it as a M4B file as well. However, I'm looking at possibly recording a verse and I was wondering how to do it so all the files are in one audiobook, like with chapters instead of separate file for each fic. As you may recall, I was searching for a program that would create chaptered audiobooks on a PC yesterday. After some google-fu, I found an answer: Chapter and Verse. Now, this isn't the ideal solution as you must first convert your files to AAC format (m4a), but Chapter and Verse CAN do this for you--and you can easily delete these extra files ( Read more... )
